NORTHEASTERN WINS THE 4TH ANNUAL HAPPY VALLEY FALL TIP-OFF

Northeastern came into Sunday 3-0, earning them the #3 seed in bracket play. They had to get through a tough Albany team in which they won in double overtime by a score of 101-96. The Huskies then had the #2 seed in the home town team Penn State. The game was extremely close leading up to the end which resulted in Penn State fouling in hopes of missed free throws to mount a comeback but fell short by a score of 98-91. Their opponent in the championship, the #4 seed Delaware. It was an electric game that came down to Northeastern hitting 1/2 free throws and Delaware throwing up a Hail Mary that got blocked.
