James Madison dethrones Northeastern as they take over the #1 in the final 23-24 Tytan Athletics NCBBA-M Top 20 Poll. This comes after James Madison defeats UCLA to win the 2024 National Championship. Winning their first title in team history. They received all 13 First Place votes.
UCLA moves to #2, Northeastern is now #3, Penn State stays at #4, and Notre Dame jumps to #5 to round out the top-5 respectively while 1 new team enters the Top 20.

#2 James Madison gets their revenge from last season, taking down the defending 2023 champs in #4 UCLA by the score of 53-49. James Madison gets their first National Championship title in team history. Congratulation’s Dukes!
#4 UCLA takes down #1 Northeastern by a score of 76-66. #4 UCLA moves on to the championship which sets up a finals rematch from 2023 with #2 James Madison. Both teams have not played each other since. The Championship game will take place at 1:00pm EST on April 21st.
#2 James Madison get the win after a rematch of the semi final game from last season comes to an end. #2 James Madison takes down the #3 Penn State by a score of 73-58. They will play the winner of the 5pm game on April 20th between the #1 Northeastern and #4 UCLA.
#1 Northeastern takes down the #8 SUNY Binghamton by a score of 85-75. #1 Northeastern moves on to square off against the defending champs and #4 UCLA on April 20th at 5pm.
#2 James Madison catches fire from the 3 point line. They connected on 17 threes, in a 87-63 win over #7 UNC-Charlotte. #2 James Madison will face off against #3 Penn State in what is a rematch from last season where James Madison defeated Penn State by 7. That game will take place on April 20th at 2:30pm.
#3 Penn State escapes a late game comeback, defeating #6 Notre Dame by a score of 85-81. #3 Penn State moves on to play the winner of the #7 UNC-Charlotte vs. #2 James Madison taking place at 5pm on April 19th.
