Congratulations to Syracuse for defeating Adelphi to win the North Atlantic Region. James Madison, the 2024 defending National Champions, will make their return to Erie. They took down Maryland to win the Mid-Atlantic Regional. The number two team in the country, Ohio State, takes down Michigan to win the Great Lakes Regional. Florida will make their first National Championship appearance after they defeated Florida State to win the South Atlantic Regional. Finally, Boston College returns to the National Championship after they took down Boston University to win the New England Regional.

Congratulations to  Cal State Northridge for defeating defending National Champions UCLA by a score of 72-68 to become the Pacific Regional Champions!

2025 NCBBA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY

Hagerty Family Events Center – Erie, PA – April 11th – 13th, 2025

2025 was another great year for the NCBBA!  For the 4th year in a row, Erie, PA proved to once again be a fantastic home for the National Championship Tournament.  As in year’s past, eight NCBBA teams advanced to the National Championship which took place Friday, April 11th through Sunday, April 13th.  The single elimination, three-day tournament ultimately determined the 2025 National Champion, UCLA.  Not only was a National Champion crowned, but on Saturday, April 12th, the Tournament also featured the 9th annual NCBBA Skills Competition.

Champions: University of California – Los Angeles

Skills / All Star Competition

On Saturday April 11th, the NCBBA hosted the 9th annual NCBBA Skills Competition.  Contestants from around the NCBBA competed in events such as a Three Point Competition, the NCBBA Obstacle Course, and a Slam Dunk Competition.

2026 REGIONALS WEEKEND IS HERE

The NCBBA-Men’s regular season has come to an end. This weekend we will have 6 Regional Tournaments taking place throughout the country with each winner earning an automatic bid to the National Championship Tournament in Erie, PA.

9TH STRAIGHT AT #1

UCLA remains on top at #1 in the 25-26 NCBBA-M Tytan Athletics Week 21 Top 20 Poll. They received all 8 First Place votes.

Ohio State moves to #2, Boston College to #3, James Madison to #4, and UNC-Charlotte to #5 to round out the top-5 respectively. 25 teams received votes after Week 18 of regular season conference play.

Stay tuned… The next poll will be released on March 31st. This comes after Regional Tournaments have concluded.
