Johns Hopkins is the 12th new team to join the NCBBA-M for the 23-24 Season.

2023 NCBBA National Championship History
Hagerty Family Events Center – Erie, PA – April 21st – 23rd, 2023
2023 was another great year for the NCBBA! For the 2nd year in a row, Erie, PA proved to once again be a fantastic home for the National Championship Tournament. As in year’s past, eight NCBBA teams advanced to the National Championship which took place Friday, April 21st through Sunday, April 23rd. The single elimination, three-day tournament ultimately determined the 2023 National Champion, University of California – Los Angeles. Not only was a National Champion crowned, but on Saturday, April 20th, the Tournament also featured the 7th annual NCBBA Skills Competition and All Star Game.
Participants: Boston College, James Madison University, Xavier University, Florida State University, University of Connecticut, Pennsylvania State University, University of California – Los Angeles, University of Southern California
Championship: UCLA 68 vs. James Madison 65
Champions: UCLA
Tournament MVP: Jonny Garnett

Skills / All Star Competition
On Saturday April 22nd, the NCBBA hosted the 7th annual NCBBA Skills Competition. Contestants from around the NCBBA competed in events such as a Three Point Competition, the NCBBA Obstacle Course, a Slam Dunk Competition and the newly added Shooter’s Chaos. Following the Skills Competition, the 6th annual NCBBA All Star Game took place featuring participants from the NCBBA National Championship Tournament field.
