The LU Flyers fell to the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday, 76-71, despite Theo Catanzaro putting 21 points on the scoreboard.
The LU Flyers racked up points early in the game, claiming a 52-33 lead at the half, but the Virginia Tech Hokies came back for the victory.
Catanzaro attacked the net right off the bat for the LU Flyers, scoring 13 points in the first half.
Nate Prososki (13 points) and David Wilson (12) each had multiple three-pointers. Joe Blockson tapped out at double digits, scoring 11 points for the LU Flyers (5-for-12). Also chipping in for the LU Flyers were Brad Norris (6 points, 3 rebounds), Michael Pagliuco (5 points, 6 rebounds) and Alex Tripke (3 points).
The LU Flyers finished the game with 38 rebounds (14 offensive/24 defensive).
