Ken grew up in Mokena, Illinois which is a suburb that sits 40 miles southwest of Chicago. Ken played baseball and basketball starting in his early childhood all the way through the varsity levels in high school. He attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL where he recently graduated from and received his Bachelor’s degree (Sports Administration) in May 2015. Ken served as the Co-President of the Saluki Club Baseball team during his time down south; he also holds SIU Club Baseball records in Starts, ERA, and Wins. This August he will be starting Graduate School at Illinois State University in pursuit of his Master’s in Kinesiology and Recreation.

Ken has previously worked in minor league baseball and hopes to continue that path to ultimately working in Intercollegiate Athletics or the professional sports industry. During his free time you will find him watching his favorite sports teams; the Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks. When it comes to baseball, he is a fan of two teams; the White Sox and whoever is playing the Cubs.
